Plan B financial adviser in nation's top 10

Plan B financial adviser Yves Schoof has been named in the Top 10 of financial planner's in Australia by the Australian Financial Review.

Yves competed against 150 financial advisers from across Australia in the AFR Smart Investor Masterclass exam and is the only Western Australian financial adviser to make the Top 10.

Yves, who is originally from Belgium, features in the February 2010 edition of the Australian Financial Review's Smart Investor magazine.

This outstanding achievement is not the first for Yves. He was awarded the National and State Dux by the Financial Services Institute of Australia in 2009, after graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

A strong advocate of genuine fee-for-service financial advice, Yves is thrilled to have made the AFR Smart Investor's Top 10.

"It's an honour to be recognised by the Australian Financial Review as a Top 10 financial adviser in Australia" Yves said.

About the AFR Smart Investor exam 

The AFR Smart Investor Masterclass exam has been run over the past 12 years. Candidates are required to complete an online exam where they answer 45 questions within 60 minutes. To sit the exam they must be certified financial planners (CFP) or financial planning specialists (FPS).
